Wildlife Plans

Support and expert advice for creating a

sustainable, wildlife friendly ecosystem in your garden

A practical roadmap for creating a garden where wildlife can flourish.

A Wildlife Garden Plan is designed to help you understand your garden as an ecosystem and make informed decisions that benefit both wildlife and the long-term health of your space.

We begin with a visit to your garden, where we'll discuss your ideas, aspirations and how you use the space. I'll assess your garden's existing features, planting and ecological potential before producing a detailed report tailored to your site. Rather than providing a traditional garden design, this is a practical document that you can return to time and again. It explains the natural characteristics of your garden, highlights opportunities for improvement and offers realistic recommendations that you can implement at your own pace.

"Whether your goal is to increase biodiversity, improve soil health or create a more resilient and productive garden, the plan provides a solid foundation for future decisions."

These plans are particularly valuable for new gardens, new homeowners, or anyone who wants to garden more sustainably but isn't sure where to begin.

Wildlife Garden Plans

Your Wildlife Garden Plan will include:

  • An overview of your local landscape and the wildlife habitats surrounding your garden

  • Practical ways to make your garden more welcoming for wildlife

  • An assessment of your garden's conditions, including aspect, sunlight and local climate

  • Seasonal management advice to help habitats thrive- such as chop and drop, leaving cuttings etc

  • Professional soil testing to understand your soil's health, structure and nutrient levels

  • Recommendations to improve soil health using organic methods- such as mulch, feeds or LABS

  • Planting suggestions tailored to your garden, including trees, shrubs, flowers and herbs that support wildlife

  • Ideas for creating habitats such as ponds, meadows, hedgerows and wildflower areas.

The aim is not to create a picture-perfect garden overnight, but to give you the knowledge and confidence to work with your garden's natural conditions and develop a space that supports wildlife, enriches biodiversity and brings enjoyment for years to come.
